While all your personal culinary content and active account records are permanently purged, some minimal data may be retained temporarily where strictly necessary:
- Legal & Regulatory Obligations: Records required for tax, financial, or regulatory compliance (such as purchase tokens and transaction IDs).
- Security & Fraud Prevention: Anonymized server error logs, crash telemetry, and security abuse records, which contain no direct personal identifiers.

Important Note on In-App Subscriptions (Google Play / App Store)
Deleting your JomCook account does not automatically cancel an active paid subscription managed by Google Play Store (or Apple App Store).
Subscription billing is handled directly by Google/Apple. To avoid future billing cycles, please cancel your active subscription directly in your platform store settings before or after deleting your account:
- Google Play Store: Open Google Play → tap your Profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → select JomCook → tap Cancel subscription. (Manage Google Play Subscriptions)
- Apple App Store: Open iPhone Settings → tap your Name / Apple ID → Subscriptions → select JomCook → tap Cancel Subscription.
