Welcome to JomCook ("we", "our", or "us"), developed by ywy dev. JomCook is an intelligent recipe and meal planning mobile application built using Flutter. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the personal data and culinary content you share with us.

This Privacy Policy explains how information about you is collected, used, disclosed, and safeguarded when you use our mobile application (the "App") and related services. A. Personal Information You Provide

• Account Credentials: When you register an account, we collect your email address and authentication details (e.g., unique user ID) via our backend provider.
• User-Generated Content: Recipes you create or customize (including titles, ingredients, instructions, cooking times, and tags), personal meal planning schedules, notes, and grocery shopping lists.
• Recipe Photos and Images: Photos of dishes or ingredients that you upload from your camera or photo library to associate with recipes.
• AI Prompts & Extraction Inputs: Text, links, or image inputs you submit to generate, parse, or translate recipes using our integrated Artificial Intelligence (AI) features.

B. Automatically Collected Data

• Device and Usage Information: Device model, operating system version (iOS/Android), unique device identifiers, IP address, app version, language settings, and general diagnostic information.
• Advertising Identifiers: Standard advertising IDs (such as Google Advertising ID / IDFA) collected by advertising networks to deliver relevant or non-personalized advertisements.
• Crash and Performance Logs: Diagnostic error reports and performance logs to ensure app stability and fix technical bugs.

C. Purchase and Subscription Data

If you subscribe to premium features in JomCook, purchases are processed directly by the Google Play Store (or Apple App Store). We do not collect or store your payment card numbers or banking information. We receive non-sensitive purchase tokens, subscription active status, expiration dates, and entitlement identifiers through our subscription infrastructure provider.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

• Provide and Maintain the App: Authenticate your identity, sync your recipes, meal plans, and grocery lists across devices, and store your culinary media securely.
• AI Recipe Generation and Extraction: Process your queries, prompts, and recipe inputs through Google Gemini AI models to generate recipes, extract ingredient lists, and provide cooking suggestions.
• Manage Subscriptions: Verify your premium entitlements and subscription status.
• Deliver In-App Advertisements: Show non-personalized or personalized ads via Google AdMob (subject to your consent and platform settings).
• Improve and Optimize: Analyze usage patterns, fix crashes, diagnose server issues, and enhance features.
• Customer Support: Respond to your feedback, support inquiries, and account deletion requests.

3. Third-Party Service Providers

We partner with trusted third-party service providers to power the core capabilities of JomCook. These providers process data on our behalf under strict confidentiality and security obligations:

• Supabase: Used for secure user authentication, PostgreSQL cloud database management, real-time data synchronization, and cloud object storage for uploaded recipe images.

• Google Gemini AI (Google LLC): Used for automated recipe generation, smart extraction from text/images, and culinary assistance. Prompts and inputs submitted for recipe generation are transmitted securely via API to process the response. We do not use your personal recipes to train public generative AI models without your consent.

4. Data Retention

We retain your personal data and user-created content (recipes, meal plans, grocery lists, photos) for as long as your account remains active and registered in JomCook.

When you delete your account (either inside the app or via our external request procedure), your personal profile, credentials, saved recipes, meal plans, grocery lists, and uploaded images are permanently deleted or anonymized from our active databases, subject to standard automated backup rotation cycles and any legal retention obligations.

5. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical, administrative, and physical security safeguards to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, loss, alteration, or disclosure. All data transmissions between the Flutter app and our backend services (Supabase, RevenueCat, Google Gemini API) use encrypted HTTPS/TLS connections. However, please understand that no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

6. Your Privacy Rights and Choices

Depending on your jurisdiction (such as the European Economic Area under GDPR or California under CCPA/CPRA), you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access and Export: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: Update or correct inaccurate personal information directly in the App.

7. Children's Privacy

JomCook is not directed toward children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in certain jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal data from children. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a child without verified parental consent, we will promptly delete such information from our records. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

8. Account Deletion and Data Management

You have the full right to delete your JomCook account at any time. You can perform deletion directly within the mobile application by navigating to:
